“There is something in every one of you that waits and listens for the sound of the genuine in yourself. It is the only true guide you will ever have. And if you cannot hear it, you will all of your life spend your days on the ends of strings that somebody else pulls.”
― Howard Thurman

I hold a non-judgmental and compassionate space for people to explore their tender edges and connect deeply to themselves. I aim to support people in embodying their true nature, and experience life more fully. Weaving together years living and working in Alaska and Nepal, and the deserts of the Southwest, decades as a massage therapist, yoga enthusiast, parent, and someone who has experienced trauma and loss, I believe pain and loss are part of life. We are also built for pleasure, connection, awe, and wonder. AND we need each other to find our way. Holding all of this may call for supported self study and practice, and this is where I come in. After 20 years working with people through clinical bodywork practice, I went back to school to expand my offerings to more explicitly support people in their emotional and spiritual journey. I am passionate about helping people learn to transform stress and trauma for deeper embodiment, meaning, and flourishing, and I love to nerd out on the science of all of this. I offer and chance to slow down and receive support. I offer simple, life affirming, evidence-based body-oriented counseling and coaching approaches. This approach is rooted in decades yoga and meditation practice, as well as relationship with wise humans, ancestors, wild places, and the more-than-human world. I find delight and nourishment making and listening to music, dancing, wandering, and paddle boarding with my son and dog Lupine.
